“Life Without Limits” Awards Dinner
 

San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina

This annual "Life Without Limits" event honors individuals in San Diego who embody leadership and community service. A fast-paced program will include short testimonials to the honoree from those in the San Diego business and philanthropic community. As part of the program, miscellaneous art, sports, travel and collectors items will be auctioned.

 

Steptember! (Formerly The CP Challenge)
 

Steptember is an exciting 4-week team activity that provides participants with the opportunity to improve their health, fitness and well-being, all while raising awareness and much needed funds for people with cerebral palsy.

The challenge requires participants to form teams of four. Each team challenges themselves to take 10,000 steps a day, tracking their daily step count (by wearing a pedometer provided by UCP) or other fitness activities and recording the total on their personalized Steptember webpage or via the mobile site.

Participants don’t just have to walk – they can run, cycle, swim, or even dance to reach their daily step target. There are more than 40 activities to choose from, including activities suitable for people with a disability.

48th Annual Día Del Sol
 

This annual Beach and Country Guild event to benefit UCP is held at the Grand Del Mar and features silent and live auctions, gourmet luncheon and a designer runway fashion show.

The Beach and Country Guild supports UCP's mission to advance the independence, productivity and full citizenship of people affected by cerebral palsy and other disabilities.
